TOP "Barry's programs are varied and open-ended so that each group's experience is unique. Furthermore, his techniques are well developed, and his experiences have prepared him to work well in a variety of settings". Julie Metzler Young Audiences "Barry Bernstein's UNITY WITH A BEAT! Program is a wonderful way to teach cooperation and working together. Everyone gets involved no matter what the age or skill level. The adults and children alike experience success and a fun time. This was a great way for our school family to spend time together." Dr. Lynn Smith Ph.D., Principal East Antioch Elementary "The youth who were involved were able to enjoy themselves while learning to work together. We noticed that their self-esteem improved and that they also expressed outward pride to others".Elgin Woody, III, Executive Director Boys' and Girls' Club of Topeka "The best part of "Unity With A Beat!" is the smiles. We have many learning disabled children at our school and they were delighted with the program. Even our sophisticated 6th graders were enthusiastic and got up to lead the school in a Trailwood "Rhythm Weave". Gabriella Kusko, Cultural Arts Chair Trailwood Elementary "The teachers and students were enthusiastic about the themes of cooperation and school unity Barry taught throughout the morning. Barry came to school early and was ready for the children in plenty of time. He kept to the schedule to present 3 performances in one morning, working with over 700 children. I heartily endorse his program as being educational, musical and most of all, FUN!" Cheryl Ringeisen, Cultural Arts Chair Roeshill Elementary |
